Why Speed is the New Competitive Edge

Native Commerce was recently featured in *Ecommerce Fastlane*, discussing why speed has become the new standard in modern commerce.

Modern commerce systems are often fragmented: storefronts, operations, logistics, and data all operate in isolation. This slows execution and limits scalability. In the interview, we focused on a different approach: a single connected system that unifies core commerce functions to remove operational friction and enable real-time performance at scale.

A key point was the importance of building with operators, people who understand commerce from real execution. This directly shapes how the platform is designed and ensures it works in real-world conditions.

We also covered Native Intelligence, the AI layer that analyses system behaviour, identifies patterns, and continuously improves operational efficiency over time.

The goal is simple: build commerce infrastructure that performs seamlessly from the first customer click to final delivery.
