Grocery & Quick commerce
Introduction
Jiffy was founded in London in 2020 with a bold mission: to reinvent grocery shopping. Their promise was simple, fresh groceries delivered to your door in under 20 minutes.
Using a network of smart fulfillment centers (“dark stores”), Jiffy sourced a wide selection of fresh produce, meals, and household essentials from both popular brands and local suppliers. Within months, Jiffy became one of London’s most recognized quick-commerce players.

The challenge
Building a new retail model at speed meant solving multiple challenges at once:
Fulfilment: Picking had to be faster and more accurate than traditional supermarkets.
Margins: Conversion-driven catalogues risked pushing low-margin products, limiting profitability.
Scalability: Legacy-style systems couldn’t handle the growth needed to process thousands of orders per day.
To succeed, Jiffy needed a platform designed not just for eCommerce, but for ultrafast grocery retail.

Our role
Native Commerce (then Cloud Retail) provided the technology and expertise to power Jiffy’s growth:

A microservices platform with real-time stock services capable of handling up to 260,000 orders per day without slowing down.
Operational support
Training, onboarding, and best practices for warehouse staff to keep operations smooth.
